The Sounds.Json file is where all the magic happens!!!

And there's some strangeness!!

For a couple updates, new music would be added to the game using their actual titles rather than some variation of
piano4.ogg or hal6.ogg or something

Which meant there was a strange disconnect between the two, where the old music would be named purely for purpose
but the new music was named with artistry in mind!

And!!

They updated the old music files in 1.20.2! Which I think is cool!

Now all the old music files have their proper titles rather than just calm1.ogg!!

This left a problem though,

not particularly with Askew, I made all the music entirely seperate from the standard tracks so that even if
new music is added in an update it won't touch Askew.

But now!! Depending on the version you play on, the old music comes from either the old "purpose" names or the new
"art" names

So this pack just includes both!! And from all my testing it never seems to try to play a song that doesn't exist

Which rocks!!

There's also no overworld biome specific music in this pack, because there are like 50 overworld tracks ALONE with
Vanilla and Askew combined, so even if there were you'd never hear 'em, all music has an equal chance of playing :)!!

Also, strange note: (see edit)

I just COULDNT get Minecraft to allow two "end wandering" songs, I tried every combo imaginable and it just wouldn't have it.

So I just didn't format it properly!

In order to make changes to sounds.json actually work you HAVE to tell the game to replace the block with "replace: true"

otherwise the game just doesn't know what to do and just picks *whatever it wants*

So!!

In order to implement two "end wandering" songs I just didn't fill in the "replace: true"!!!

So whenever MC picks the Askew wandering song it's purely a fluke, but a fluke that works :D!!!

EDIT:
Idk what the hell I'm talking about here??? End wandering music seems to pick from the list just fine??? Which is great! Since Askew now has multiple end wandering songs! Maybe something'll break in one specific version, but from 26.1 onward this seems fine

NEW items of note!

This pack now incorporates the normalized volumes implemented for the Askew Bedrock's "Pacified" mode! Which means all music, Askew, Addendum, New, and Old should play at similar volumes!....With one caveat...
I did a bunch of tests to ensure Bedrock and Java calculate their volume values identically and for the most part, it seems they do!

Except Java doesn't want to raise anything louder than their default volume, so making tracks louder than "1" doesn't work, I've kept in the code for this regardless! As maybe someday they'll allow it?
But for now it seems most C418 songs will stay at their default volume, but that's fine! As the Askew and New music has been turned down enough to meet it much closer than Vanilla :)!

And while most Askew Music Toast related packs have tracks from the new "Addendum" album highlighted, I decided to forgo this for Even Score, it doesn't really seem fair to have my tracks do this without cool colors for everyone else. ((And doing so would mean a lot of Music Toast Editry, which I suspect most folks probably just want left alone))
